Quick Change Filter Head for the CO-T Series combines high-density carbon block and Anti-Scale Protection Technology (ASP) to give you the advantage of effortless water
treatment.

Carbon Block Technology has been proven to reduce chlorine, chloramine, lead, benzine and most importantly for food service it is very effective at reducing taste and odour. The Puretec high-density carbon block has a larger ratio of activated carbon surface area to water and allows for better contaminant removal and longer filter life.

The ASP Technology reacts with soluble metals (iron, magnesium, calcium, manganese, etc.) by binding the metals to maintain their solubility in
water. This process minimises the risk of discolouration, staining, scaling, chlorine demand and foul taste/odour. This technology also forms a durable polarising film on the surfaces of metals by an electrodeposition mechanism and acts as a corrosion inhibitor at very low hardness.

Frequent Asked Questions

When we purchase, is the system complete and ready to install, who can install?

We supply the complete system with CO2 Cylinder, hose, regulator and connections, safety shutoff valve, pressure relief valve, filter kit with replaceable filter, so your licensed technician can install and you can start enjoying Sparkling & Still water immediately after installed. (kit is for a standard installation). Outside of standard installation kit eg. holes cut in cabinetry, longer hose required to mains water, corners for hose that require elbow connections to prevent kinking etc, speak to your technician about non standard additions they are required to supply.

The compressor is constantly running?

It is normal for the compressor in the unit to operate intermittently. If you find it is running constantly, first ensure there is sufficient ventilation by checking that the ventilation grills are not blocked. Also remove any items surrounding the unit and allow it to cool.

You should also check if the thermostat has been turned up to ‘7’, as the unit may freeze if not in use for a long period, and use a screwdriver to adjust the thermostat to ‘5’.

It could also be that the temperature in your venue is above 30°C, as it is normal for the unit to work continuously at a high room temperature.

My unit is very noisy, but is working normally?

Check that the machine is on a level surface. The machine has a water pump to ensure water and CO2 gas mix at required levels to produce refreshing Sparkling Water. It is normal for the pump to "switch on" when dispensing sparkling water, and then "switch off" when not dispensing. Noise level also depends on your environment, as machine may be placed in an area where sound is amplified. One solution is to move unit to a different area. Machines are for commercial use in offices and other sites.

My sparkling water is not fizzy enough ?

Check to see if your gas cylinder is empty. If it is empty, replace it.

If your gas cylinder is not empty, check that the gas pressure is around 350kpa.

In certain cases, your water inlet pressure may be low. Check with your installer. (Min 2.5bar pressure is required to system). As a result of low water inlet pressure, the CO2 gas may have displaced the water. Your technician may be required to release the excess pressure in the system.

How do I know if my cylinder is empty?

The cylinder has a regulator with a CO2 Gas Level indicator gauge, indicating the level of CO2 gas in the cylinder. When the indicator goes to orange, it is time to replace the CO2 gas cylinder.

Water is not being dispensed?

First, check that there is power to your premises and that the mains power is switched on.

Make sure the power switch on the sparkling water dispenser is in the ‘ON’ position.

Also check the thermostat to make sure it is not in the ‘OFF’ position or close to ‘1’. Using a screwdriver, adjust the thermostat to ‘5’ but do not turn it all the way to ‘7’ or the unit may freeze and will not dispense water.

Water is coming out of the tap/s too fast/slow?

25 seconds is the optimal time taken to pour 1 x 750ml bottle of sparkling water, so, first you should time how long it takes your unit to pour 1 x 750ml bottle of sparkling water.

40 seconds is the optimal time taken to pour 1 x 750ml bottle of still water, so, first you should time how long it takes your unit to pour 1 x 750ml bottle of still water.

The water is cold but dispensing very slowly, or not at all?

Check that the mains water tap is open fully

My sparkling water is not fizzy enough?

Check to see if your gas cylinder is empty. If it is empty, replace it. If your gas cylinder is not empty, check that the gas pressure is around 350kpa

How cold is the water that is dispensed?

The water dispensed is 3 – 10°C

Is the water filtered?

Yes – we provide a filter kit to filter in-line water from water mains to ensure you have high quality water.

How often should I replace the filter?

Based on usage and age, the filter should be replaced annually to ensure clean pure water is supplied to the machine.

Can I replace the CO2 Gas cylinder myself or do I require a technician?

You can replace the empty CO2 gas cylinder yourself. It is relatively simple to switch off your machine. unscrew the cylinder from the regulator, and replace the CO2 Cylinder. CO2 food grade gas is Non Toxic and non flammable, and is safe to replace. Similar gas is inside a carbonated fizzy drink bottle. when you open the fizzy drink, you generally hear a "woosh", this is CO2 gas being released from the fizzy drink. It is safe.
